COVID-19 has become more than a health crisis, it’s causing all kinds of problems among society as we’ve seen in the news and experienced ourselves. As a result, many startups <\/strong>have expressed their willingness to help, either by trying to find solutions or making their products and services available to everyone. At Itnig<\/strong><\/a>, we’ve come across amazing startup initiatives, no matter the size or type of company!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Here are 15 different startup<\/strong> initiatives<\/strong> to fight the crisis together:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Factorial<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Factorial<\/strong><\/a> is an HR software<\/strong> that allows companies to manage everything related to their employees, such as remote work, something very important these days. The startup<\/a><\/strong> has taken the initiative<\/strong> to extend the free trial period<\/strong><\/a> during the crisis. Above all, its goal is to help companies that are trying to digitize<\/strong> all their processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Classlife<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Classlife<\/strong><\/a> is an all-in-one platform for managing schools. The startup just launched Classlife Rooms<\/strong><\/em>, a free tool for teachers and students that seeks to help the nearly ten million students who cannot attend class in Spain because of COVID-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Andjoy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Andjoy<\/strong><\/a> is an online wellness platform that allows its users to access multiple gyms and centers of all kinds. Since it can’t operate regularly these days, it began to offer 3 Yoga and 3 Pilates online classes per week! They also offer instructor-led Functional Training classes. The point is to still be able to keep a healthy lifestyle even in quarantine. Check them out<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cabify<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cabify for Heroes<\/em><\/strong> is the name of the initiative by Cabify<\/a><\/strong>. The mobility company offers 44 hospital centers in Madrid a free service for healthcare professionals. It operates from Monday to Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drawful 2 <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The creators of Jackbox.tv are giving away Drawful 2 for free<\/strong><\/a>. It\u2019s a Pictionary-style game, you can play it through your phone or iPad. If you are looking for things to do with friends and family while on video calls, this is perfect since you can play remotely with other players. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Badi<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Badi<\/strong><\/a>, the long-term room rental platform, will allocate 400 rooms to accommodate displaced health professionals in the city of Barcelona. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Domestika<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To promote the #YoMeQuedoEnCasa movement, Domestika<\/a><\/strong> uploaded 10 different courses for free<\/strong>. You can check them out here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

HumanITcare<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

HumanITcare<\/a><\/strong> is providing its hospital telemedicine platform<\/strong> for free. Through it, health professionals can remotely monitor patients who are at home. Health institutions can see which areas of their cities have more patients with certain pathologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tetuan Valley<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The startup pre-accelerator<\/strong> offers free online sessions to help startups<\/strong> and entrepreneurs<\/strong> get through these difficult times. Experts conduct the sessions to cover different topics, such as best practices for remote working in teams or crisis management. You can find the schedule on the web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bridge for Billions <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bridge for Billions<\/strong> announced The Leap- Solutions for Humanity<\/strong>, a free early-stage support program. It will support 20 entrepreneurs<\/strong>, whose value proposition is focused on solving problems for those affected by Covid-19. The call ends on March 29th, you can apply through the web.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nomo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Nomo<\/a> <\/strong>is a fintech<\/strong> app that integrates financial services and business management tools for freelancers<\/strong>. To help freelancers affected by the crisis, the app is offering all of its services available for free for one month. Also, it won’t charge its current users the next month of subscription. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Byld<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Byld<\/a><\/strong> created “Ventures for Change<\/strong>” a collaborative platform to find solutions to situations caused by COVID-19. The venture builder<\/strong> offers its experience and access to corporations and professionals from all sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oakademia<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students are having online classes as their only way to keep up with their studies. Consequently, the startup Oakademia<\/a><\/strong> decided to put all its courses for free<\/a>. The goal is to help high school students, without the need of an independent tutor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health Warriors<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Health Warriors<\/a><\/strong> is a movement to give food from the restaurants of Barcelona to our health care workers. 70 restaurants and companies like Coca-Cola are already collaborating. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qonto<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Qonto<\/strong><\/a> is a banking service for small and medium-sized companies, thanks to technology and design. They’re offering 2 months of free<\/a> Qonto account and free virtual cards for all customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
