Senior Software Engineer

💻 The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you should be proficient in different technologies and skills, always finding the best processes and methodologies. You are also hungry to learn new things and take new challenges to develop your skills.

Problem’s you’ll be solving
You’ll work closely with other team members on business opportunities, detecting potential problems and trade-offs. You’ll code on different languages and technologies like Ruby on Rails, React, and WordPress. You’ll also take new challenges on your own, finding the best solutions and measuring the business impact of your decisions.

As Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the Growth Enablement team with other Software Engineers and Product Designers. You'll work on different opportunities to impact the business with technology and design. Some examples of projects are creating new acquisition channels, improving lead generation flows, or Core Web Vitals.

You're a good fit if...

  • You have +5 years of experience
  • You can identify potential technical issues, trade-offs, and risks from each project.
  • You care about processes and ways to improve them.
  • You write meaningful and clean code.
  • You take full ownership of challenges, from definition to shipping and follow-up.
  • You can move quickly and start learning new technologies and methodologies.
  • You have strong communication skills, and you can speak and write in English fluently.

You have a plus if...

  • You have experience working in a changing environment.
  • You know how to measure the impact of your decisions in the business.
  • You are passionate about business.
  • You have experience with CMS platforms like WordPress or DatoCMS.
  • You worked in SAAS company previously

💰 Compensation

The range for this position is between 50.000€ to 75.000€. At Growth Enablement, we have a policy of public salaries for each position independently of the location. For this particular position, we are looking for a senior or higher experience candidate.

  1. Hiring Manager Interview (1h)
    The first thing is to know each other and give you the chance to ask any questions you have about Factorial. Take this interview as an informal conversation, so don't be nervous.
  2. Coding Challenge (8h max.)
    We need to validate your knowledge and estimate your level before joining Factorial. The challenge is pretty simple, you need to build a Frontend + Backend application that allows you to post and visualize metrics on a usable way. We also give the option to present a piece of your code.
  3. Presentation (1h)
    Once you finish the challenge, we'll do a second interview with the rest of the team to present your challenge and ask you different questions about your decision-making.
  4. Offer Letter
    If everything plays out, we'll make you a formal offer based on all the steps above.
