One of the problems when you are building a product is that people keep telling you that your business idea is awesome, and then they never really use it (or pay you) once you launch.
Why is that happening? Because people lie! Not intentionally, of course. They want to be nice or they can't predict the future. But that's not their fault. It's our responsibility to ask good questions and find the truth ourselves.
Rob Fitzpatrick went through this in his previous startups and eventually learned both how to screw up a conversation with a customer, and how to make it work. The lessons learned are in the book, The Mom Test.
In this meet up Rob will explain how to turn non-useful conversations with customers into a huge source of precious information that will help you to build a better business.
