What you'll do 📜

You will partner with a team of Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to shape, build, and implement strategic solutions that solve user problems and drive business outcomes.

From research and wireframing to designing end-to-end flows and prototypes, through to implementation, testing, and validation, you will craft products that solve problems simply and elegantly, paying attention to every detail.

You’ll think holistically across all Factorial surfaces, designing systemic solutions for vertical products while maintaining consistency across the platform.

Who you are 👤

You are a good fit if...

• You have at least 3 years of experience as a Product Designer, taking part in the full end-to-end process of building software.
• You feel confident leading discovery sessions with customers, surfacing problems down to the smallest detail, detecting patterns and potential edge cases.
• You know how to balance user, market, and business inputs (along with your own intuition and gut instinct), to prioritize your decisions.
• You know how to collaborate closely with Software Engineers to understand the technical constraints behind your designs.
• You are autonomous, resourceful, and see constraints as an opportunity to drive creativity, working in an iterative way.
• You can design solutions that balance short-term needs, enabling fast iteration and validation, while also envisioning long-term, ideal outcomes for future iterations.
• You think in systems and are able to extrapolate and extend shared patterns and behaviors across the platform.
• You care deeply about details and push your designs to be pixel-perfect and bug-free during implementation.
• You can clearly communicate your decisions to a wide range of partners, and you do this through clear and concise writing.
• You love using software and exploring new technologies to enhance your design process and solutions. Also, you know where to find the right references and inspiration to solve the problem at hand.

Compensation ✨

The salary range for this position starts at 45,000€. We are only considering profiles who have proven experience designing digital products at scale.

Our Process 🧩

• A chat with our Tech Talent Acquisition specialist and a Design Director.
• Let’s get to know each other! We’ll dive into your experience, design thinking, and align on expectations.
• Your turn: Ask us anything about Factorial - the team, design culture, day-to-day work, or beyond.

2. 🎨 Portfolio Deep Dive (1 hour)

• Walk us through your portfolio or a case study.
• We want to understand your workflow, decision-making, and how you solve design challenges.

3. 🛠️ Practical Challenge (≤ 8 hours)

• To validate your skills and assess your level fit for Factorial, we’ll share a fictional challenge that simulates a real situation you might encounter as a designer here.

4. 💡 Challenge Presentation (1 hour)

• Present your work to the team, answer questions, and meet future colleagues.
• Collaboration and feedback are key here!

5. ✨ Offer Stage

• If it’s a mutual fit, we’ll send a detailed offer reflecting your expertise and our alignment.
